Pretty much shattered my left clavicle skiing. Had a consult with Dr. Slabaugh who laid out, in easy to understand detail, surgical repair vs. leaving it alone to heal. Elected surgical option and so happy I did. Pre-op, surgery, and all post-op procedures were absolutely exceptional. Extremely satisfied with the results and being back at 100% strength, mobility and functionality. Proud to be a member of the "partial cyborg" world with my titanium plate and 7 screws. Thank you Dr. Slabaugh for your outstanding surgical acumen.

I tore my ACL and Dr. Slabaugh was the doctor that replaced my ACL. He had so many patience with me, I had a ton of questions (I showed up to my initial appointment with a notebook with all questions written down) and he answered all my questions with empathy and understanding. The morning of my surgery he met with me again assuring me everything would be fine. He was correct everything was fine. He encouraged me the entire way through recovery. He didn't sugar coat the recovery procedure, he is a straight up guy and told me exactly what I needed to do to be successful during recovery. IF I or anyone I know ever needs surgery of this nature, Dr. Slabaugh will be the FIRST person I RECOMMEND!!

I am a US Air Force dependent and had my rotator cuff repair performed by Dr. Mark Slabaugh. Dr. Slaubaugh displayed confidence, professionalism, and competence. He is a skilled surgeon and is a master of his craft. His very positive demeanor is also a plus . It has been 6 months since I had the procedure, and I am 100 percent back to doing my pre-injury activities. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Slaubaugh !

Dr. Slabaugh has provided me with world class care throughout the healing process. His presurgery care was concise, complete and compasionate in attempting to provide relief without surgery. When my injury was exacerbated by continuous use of the affected joint, surgery became necessary. Dr. Slabaugh provided continuous support and encouragement from surgery to post operative physical therapy to insure that I have a positive outcome that exceeded my high expectations. For the first time in years I am enjoying pain free, 100% range of motion of my left shoulder. I highly recommend and sing the praises of this world class healer.

Very caring doctor with clear and concise communication. I had no concerns about my surgery and the after care was exceptional. Would recommend him if you need orthopedic surgery.

After 50 years of sports, I've seen more than my fair share of orthopedic docs and I'll tell you Dr. Mark Slabaugh was the best. Tore my Achilles in May and we discussed a wide range of options based on my long, complicated medical history. Dr. Slabaugh addressed all issues and we opted for surgery. Great results and I was ahead of rehab timeline despite age. I was impressed enough to insure Dr. Slabaugh did my shoulder surgery in Oct. Labrum and bicep tendon repair. Couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Slabaugh has great "bedside manor" and makes you well informed of all options before making a surgical decision. While I hope not to ever need an orthopedic surgery again, if i did Dr. Slabaugh would be my first choice.

Dr. Slabaugh was great throughout my injury, my surgery, and my follow up visits. He was personable and very easy to talk to. I felt as though he was very understanding of my situation, which was a sports related injury, and my desire to heal quickly in order to get back to a competitive level of fitness. Post surgery, he was able to advise me on how to regain strength and mobility, which was really important to me.

I had an MRI in Denver, was diagnosed with a partial tear in my rotator cuff and was told by my Primary Care Physician that it would get better with physical therapy. After almost a year of treatment, I made little progress. I then saw Dr. Slabaugh and what I really had was a torn bicep tendon. He repaired it EXPERTLY. I am only 3 months post-surgery and have very little discomfort and have almost full range of motion. Compared to every other surgeon and doctor I have dealt with (8 in the last 10 years for various injuries) -- he is by far the BEST in every aspect - from pre- and post-op care to his personal touch and care and concern for your well-being. I would highly recommend him!!!

At 62 I managed to detach 2 of the 5 tendons in my right hamstring. Dr. Slabaugh led the surgery that repaired the damage, and worked with me during recovery. Recommend without any reservation.

I saw Dr. Slabaugh after experiencing a knee injury (torn meniscus). Dr. Slabaugh explained the injury, the different options for treatment and expected outcomes / impacts of each. Ultimately, the best path forward for me was to have surgery which Dr. Slabaugh performed. It's now been 6 weeks and I very happy with the results. Besides the great result, I really appreciated Dr. Slabaugh's straight-forward approach and detailed explanations / answers for any questions I had. While I hope to not need his services again, I have no reservations to seek him out if needed and will refer my family and friends his way if they ever have a need.
